Leasing a mobile dog grooming trailer from K9 Trailer Rentals allows you to start your own grooming business without the significant upfront costs of purchasing a trailer. We provide you with a fully equipped grooming trailer, and you pay a monthly fee for the duration of the lease. You have the option to upgrade to a newer trailer at the end of the lease term.
You’ll need to check with your car manufacturer to ensure your vehicle can safely tow our trailers based on their specifications. Our newer trailers weigh up to 1200 kg approx, so your car must have a towing capacity that meets or exceeds this weight. Older models orweigh up to 990 kg.
Yes, both Lease and Lease-to-Buy options require a security deposit, depending on the chosen plan. A lease is a $3000 refundable security deposit and for lease-to-buy there is a $6000 security deposit which goes towards the trailer purchase or refundable if switching to a lease.
With the lease-to-buy option, part of your payments go towards the purchase of the trailer, so you can own it at the end of the lease term. A lease an lease-to-buy are very similar except that the lease-to-buy security deposit is higher than the lease depsot. There are slightly different terms outlined in the contract agreements.
Absolutely! A lot groomers prefert to start with a standard lease and later decide to switch to lease-to-buy. We make our leases very flexible so they suit you and your business.

We understand that circumstances can change. If you need to cancel your lease early, please contact us to discuss the terms. We do not have any early termination fees, however we require one months notice and for the trailer to be delivered back to us in Melbourne.
Yes! We can arrange delivery for those in VIC, NSW, and some areas around Adelaide and Brisbane. Get in touch with us for a quote. Alternatively you can pickup your trailer from our depot in Laverton North.Â
We usually have trailers ready to go so as soon as your agreement is signed and eposit made the trailer is yours to use! For exact availability, please get in touch with us.
Yes! We offer trailer signage writing as an add-on. If leasing, you will be responsible for removal of any sign writing upon return
